Biography

Morgan Stewart received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, followed by completing a Postgraduate Year One Pharmacy Residency at Ohio State University and a Postgraduate Year Two Ambulatory Care Residency at the University of Colorado. She is a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist and practices at CommUnityCare Federally Qualified Health Centers in Austin, Texas. Her clinical pharmacy services include chronic disease state management, collaborative drug therapy management protocols, comprehensive medication reviews, and pharmacotherapy education for health care providers and clinical staff. Stewart coordinates and teaches the Pharmacotherapy Endocrine System module, co-coordinates the Patient-Centered Diabetes Care elective, and teaches various pharmacotherapy modules on ambulatory care topics. She precepts pharmacy students through both introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences. Dr. Stewart is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
