Biography

Moritz Marbach is an Associate Professor specializing in Data Science and Public Policy at University College London. He is an affiliated faculty member of the Immigration Policy Lab at Stanford University and has served on the National Statistician’s Advisory Panel for Migration Statistics. Marbach joined UCL in 2022, after holding the position of Assistant Professor at the Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University from January 2021 to January 2022. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Mannheim in 2016, where he also completed his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in the arts. His research interests focus on the intersection of data science, public policy, and migration issues, leveraging his expertise to contribute to significant policy development and statistical analysis.
