Biography

Morris Mendelson joined the Faculty of Business at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John in 2001, focusing on the Human Resources area. He teaches undergraduate courses in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management, as well as MBA courses in Human Behaviour and Leadership. He received the UNB Saint John Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching in 2008 and has authored articles published in several reputable journals, including the International Journal of Human Resource Management and Personnel Review. Before his tenure at UNB, he was a faculty member at Wilfrid Laurier University and a PhD student and instructor at Queen's University, achieving the rank of Associate Professor in 2007. His recognized contributions include awards from the Academy of Management and the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada. Morris has served extensively within the Faculty and the broader community, including as Acting Dean and on various committees. He also has community involvement with organizations such as WorkSafe NB and the Saint John SPCA.
