Biography

Morten Fjeld is a Full Professor in Interaction Design at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He has a strong focus on Human-Computer Interaction, particularly in tangible tabletop user computing. He founded the t2i Interaction Lab at Chalmers in 2005 and possesses dual MSc degrees in applied mathematics from NTNU and ENSIMAG, as well as a PhD from ETH Zurich. Fjeld has extensive industrial experience in areas such as fluid mechanics, simulators, and user interface design. Currently, he is involved in leading several research projects and holds a leadership role in the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems Software Program. His contributions to the ACM community include initiating the Interactive Surfaces and Spaces conference series and serving on the steering committee. Fjeld is recognized for his leadership in the CHI community and has been a speaker at prominent conferences.
