Biography

Mosharraf Hossain is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the UWA Business School. He specializes in corporate finance, corporate governance, and sustainable finance, and has published his research in recognized journals including the International Review of Financial Analysis, Global Finance Journal, Australian Accounting Review, and Accounting Research Journal. Mosharraf has a profound passion for teaching and has been nominated for the Excellence in Teaching Award for seven consecutive years, receiving the UWA Business School Excellence in Teaching Award in 2017 and 2019. He obtained his Ph.D. in finance from the University of Western Australia and is actively engaged in research related to Corporate Finance, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors, and Sustainable Finance.
