Biography

Mostafa (Mo) Shokoohi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at Brock University. He holds a Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Western Ontario, and previously served as a CIHR Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health. His research expertise encompasses a range of methodologies including study designs, cross-sectional nationwide surveys, validation studies, cohort studies, case-control studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. Dr. Shokoohi has extensive experience in teaching Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Methods in Health courses. His research interests are focused on Global Health, Behavioral, Social, and Structural Determinants of Health among marginalized and underserved populations, utilizing Real-World Data and Evidence. He is currently accepting applications for MSc and PhD programs as well as undergraduate applications in the field.
