Dr. Motty Perry

Biography

Motty Perry is a Professor at the University of Warwick and the Emeritus Don Patinkin Professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research primarily focuses on Game Theory, Mechanism Design, and Auction Theory. A distinguished academic, he is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and has served as a Council Member of the Game Theory Society. Throughout his career, Perry has held various prestigious visiting positions at institutions such as Harvard, the University of Chicago, and the University of Pennsylvania. He has also held academic positions including Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago and the Hebrew University before becoming a Full Professor. His contributions to the field have been recognized through his roles as an associate editor for leading journals in economic theory and through significant engagement with academic societies related to game theory and economics.
