Biography

Mouna Ayari Ben Hadj Kacem joined the Computer Sciences faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Spring 2018 as a Teaching Faculty member. Prior to this, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Monastir in Tunisia from September 2009 to September 2014. Mouna has also served as an associate researcher, conducting research with the PHARE team at the LIP6 laboratory of Sorbonne University from July 2011 to September 2018. She received her PhD in Computer Science jointly from Sorbonne University and the National School of Computer Science (ENSI) at the University of Manouba in Tunisia in 2009. She holds master's and bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from ENSI, Tunisia, obtained in 2004 and 2003, respectively. Mouna's teaching interests focus on programming, data structures, and software engineering. Her research interests encompass mobility management, resource allocation in wireless mobile networks, and information-centric networking, including autonomic networking.
