Biography

Mousumi Rizia is a Research Fellow in the Neuroinformatics research group at Australian National University School of Computing. Her research focuses on advancing artificial intelligence through deep learning and deep generative modeling, and developing early, non-invasive anomaly detection methods across various domains. With more than a decade of experience at the intersection of technology and education, she is dedicated to transdisciplinary collaboration and the co-production of impactful research and education. Previously, she served as a Research Associate at NASA MIRO Aerospace Centre at the University of Texas at El Paso and held the rank of Squadron Leader in the Bangladesh Air Force. Rizia is passionate about mentoring research students and actively supervises topics in her field.
