Biography

Muhammad Shafique received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, in 2011. He founded a prominent research group at KIT and engaged in significant research and development activities in Pakistan. Additionally, he was involved in co-founding a technology startup and spearheaded an ICT research and development project in Pakistan, establishing strong partnerships with various universities. His expertise includes brain-inspired computing, AI and machine learning hardware, autonomous systems, and energy-efficient computing. He has presented keynotes and talks at major forums and has been recognized as a senior member of IEEE and a member of ACM. Dr. Shafique has authored over 300 publications, holds several patents, and has received multiple prestigious awards throughout his academic career for his contributions to the field.
