Biography

Muna Ibrahim Bruce is a Lecturer in Arabic at MIT Global Languages, where she teaches various levels of Arabic courses, including Introduction to Arabic Culture. She has co-led Arabic Language Dialogue programs in Jordan, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE. Muna's pedagogical interests focus on the integration of culture into curriculum development and exploring cultural representations within language contexts. She employs an interdisciplinary translingual-transcultural approach to language learning and teaching. Before joining MIT, she was a faculty member at Northeastern University.
