Biography

Murali Doraiswamy MBBS FRCP is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine, where he is a highly cited physician-scientist at the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences. He directs a clinical trials unit involved in the development of modern diagnostic tests, applications, algorithms, and therapeutics. Prof. Doraiswamy is a sought-after advisor to government agencies, businesses, and advocacy groups including the NIH and FDA. He also served as chair of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Brain Research and co-chaired an innovation advisory council for social impact funds dedicated to promoting innovative solutions to reverse age-related disorders. He has lectured at global forums on advancing neuroscience research related to aging and has been an investigator in landmark trials, co-authoring over 400 publications.
