I am an assistant professor at the École de santé publique of Université de Montréal, in the Department of Environmental Health and Occupational Health since August 1, 2023. I am also an adjunct professor at the University of Waterloo in Ontario. My specialization is in evaluating and managing public and environmental health risks for minority or vulnerable groups. I completed my PhD in public health at Université de Montréal in 2015, focusing on the exposure of migrant agricultural workers to contaminants. My research includes the interplay between contaminant exposure, environment, nutrition, and diet, particularly involving Indigenous communities in Canada. I have also worked with humanitarian organizations such as Médecins sans frontières in health promotion among the Yazidi population in Iraq. My experience includes monitoring public health responses, including to COVID-19, and advising Indigenous communities on health program development. My research interests encompass environmental health, risk assessment, nutrition, and the impact of climate change on vulnerable populations.
