Biography

Myron A. Pozniak is a Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a focus on Abdominal Imaging Intervention. He completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois and received his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico. Dr. Pozniak completed his internship and residency at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, and further pursued fellowship training at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Since joining the University of Wisconsin faculty in 1984, he has authored 60 publications in the fields of CT and ultrasound and is a co-author of the textbook Clinical Doppler Ultrasound, currently in its 3rd edition.
