Biography

N.T. Wright has held a variety of academic chaplaincy positions at Oxford, Cambridge, and McGill University in Montreal. He served as Canon at Westminster in 2000 and as Bishop of Durham from 2003 to 2010. Currently, he is a Research Professor Emeritus of New Testament and Early Christianity at St Mary’s College, University of St Andrews, and a Senior Research Fellow at Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford. His research interests include Biblical Studies, particularly in the Old Testament and New Testament, as well as Historical and Systematic Theology. He has focused on topics such as Jesus and the Gospels, the theology and exegesis of Paul’s letters, and Christology. In addition to his research, he is one of the senior editors of the St Andrews Online Encyclopedia of Theology. He has authored numerous books and articles that contribute to contemporary theological debates and scholarship.
