Biography

Professor N Sri Namachchivaya has been engaged in research for over thirty years in the field of Dynamical Systems, Estimation, and Control. He is recognized internationally for his contributions to nonlinear systems, random dynamical systems, and estimation filtering theory. His research aims to understand stability and bifurcations in noisy dynamical systems and to develop innovative algorithms and tools for data assimilation. Throughout his research career, he has been the principal investigator or co-principal investigator on numerous grants from organizations such as NSF and AFOSR, with funding exceeding 8 million Canadian dollars. He has also advised 8 post-doctoral associates, 20 doctoral students, and has supported 21 master's degree candidates.
