Biography

Nabila Nisha is an Associate Lecturer at the Australian National University in the Research School of Management. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from North South University, Bangladesh, and a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Essex, UK. Nabila is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK. She commenced her doctoral studies focused on a grounded theory methodology to explore the tensions of materialism and anti-consumption. Additionally, she has experience teaching at the School of Business and Economics of North South University in Bangladesh, where she has been involved in projects on Green Banking financed by the World Bank and the Ministry of Education in Bangladesh. Her doctoral thesis investigates the reconciliation process consumers go through in the solid-liquid continuum of consumption.
