Nabila Semouh was born in Syria and raised in the main coastal city of Lattakia on the Mediterranean. She graduated from Tishreen University in Lattakia, obtaining a BA in English Language and Literature. After pursuing postgraduate studies in the UK, she earned a Diploma in English Literature from Leeds University and an MA from the University of Warwick. During her time at Warwick, Nabila taught Arabic as part of the Lifelong Learning program and became the Lifelong Learning co-ordinator. Outside of her professional life, Nabila enjoys swimming, traveling, and cooking Middle-Eastern food.
