Biography

Nachshon Korem is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. His work is focused on the consolidation and reconsolidation of fear memories and their effects on the development of post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition, he investigates how anxiety shapes perception in human subjects. Nachshon’s current aims are to understand how experiences of psychopathology interact with and shape decision-making processes at both behavioral and neuronal levels.
