Biography

Born in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Nadia Côté studied horn at the Michel Gingras Conservatoire and pursued her studies in Montreal with John Zirbel at McGill University. She participated in masterclass sessions in Germany with renowned instructors Johannes Ritkowsky and Wolfgang Wipfler. Currently based in Montreal, she regularly performs with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (OSM) and Orchestre Métropolitain, as well as Les Violons du Roy. Nadia has also appeared as a soloist with Musici de Montréal. She held the 4th horn position with Orchestre Métropolitain and the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Principal horn position with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra in China.
