Biography

Nadia El-Mabrouk is a full professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Montreal. She holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science from the University of Paris VII, obtained in 1996. She is a member of the Centre de Recherche Mathématiques and the Robert Cedergren Centre. Her research area focuses on computational biology. Her main research projects are related to the development of algorithmic and mathematical methods for comparative genomics.
