Biography

Nadia Gosselin is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Montreal, where she has been a faculty member since 2013. She holds a Ph.D. in Neuropsychology from the University of Montreal, completed postdoctoral studies at McGill University, and has extensive research experience in sleep disorders and cognitive function. Her research focuses on the effects of traumatic brain injury on cognitive functioning and sleep patterns, particularly how obstructive sleep apnea may contribute to cognitive decline in elderly patients. She leads research initiatives at the Centre d'études avancées en médecine du sommeil and co-directs the Quebec Sleep Research Network. Gosselin is actively involved in developing open science platforms for data sharing and analysis in sleep research. Additionally, she is working on a specialized D.E.S.S. program in sleep interventions and establishing a new sleep clinic at the Laval Campus, set to open in Fall 2025.
