Nadia Papamichail is a Professor at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She has previously held research positions at the University of Leeds and the University of Manchester's School of Computer Science. Her research focuses on improving organizational decision-making practices through technology, particularly in the areas of decision analytics tools and the evaluation of decision processes. Nadia has served as the principal investigator for an EPSRC-funded project on good practice in decision making and has completed a Knowledge Transfer Partnership project funded by Innovate UK. Nadja has received multiple awards for her teaching, including the Faculty of Humanities’ Outstanding Teaching Award for 2019-2020, and has co-authored a book published by Cambridge University Press. In addition to her academic contributions, she has actively organized workshops and events to promote the discipline of Decision Analysis both in the UK and internationally. She chairs the Decision Analysis Special Interest Group of the Operational Research Society and is involved in various committees, including as secretary/treasurer for the INFORMS Section on Multiple Criteria Decision Making.
