Biography

Dr. Solomon is a Clinical Fellow in the Section of Emergency & Trauma Radiology at Yale School of Medicine, where she is also a PhD candidate in the Investigative Medicine Program. Her radiology residency training occurred at Yale, where she completed the ABR Holman Research Pathway and served as Chief Resident. She holds an MD from St. George's University and an MSc in Tropical Medical Parasitology from the same institution. Dr. Solomon's broad research interests encompass forensic medicine, forensic pathology, and global health, which have taken her across the globe, including work in the United Kingdom, West Indies, Kenya, Italy, and Tanzania. Her current research emphasizes the application of imaging techniques in postmortem settings as a tool for death investigation, with particular focus on child abuse imaging and forensic applications. She is also affiliated with the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner as a forensic imaging consultant.
