Biography

Nadine Kronfli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at McGill University and a Scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre. Her research focuses on designing, deploying, and evaluating evidence-based models within care implementation science to enhance engagement in the hepatitis C virus care cascade among incarcerated populations. As an international leader in the elimination of hepatitis C in carceral settings, Dr. Kronfli works on improving access to testing and treatment and harm reduction services within Canadian federal and provincial prisons. She is also the Principal Investigator for the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C. In recent years, her research has expanded to include work on sexually transmitted and bloodborne viruses. The ultimate goal of her research is to support the development of evidence-based policies that improve the health of carceral populations.
