Biography

Nadje Al-Ali is the Robert Family Professor of International Studies and a Professor of Anthropology at Brown University, specializing in Women's Studies and Middle East Studies. Her research primarily focuses on feminist activism and gendered mobilization in Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, and the Kurdish political movement.
