Dr. Nagi Demian

Biography

Nagi Demian is a Professor at UTHealth School of Dentistry, specializing in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He has dedicated his career to addressing urgent care needs related to severe facial infections and fractures. Dr. Demian's clinical expertise extends to several areas including salivary gland diseases, sialo-endoscopy, orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, and reconstructive oral surgery with a focus on bone grafting and implant placement. His practice also addresses dental extractions under sedation, TMJ surgery, and cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections for headaches. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Demian has written multiple articles published in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to several book chapters. He is an active lecturer at professional meetings, sharing his insights and knowledge in the field.
