Biography

Nagib Chalfoun, MD, FHRS, is a board-certified cardiologist electrophysiologist and a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Following this, he completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Chalfoun went on to complete a cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, followed by a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. His clinical interests encompass catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, as well as the management of complex arrhythmias. He possesses extensive experience in the implantation of pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, and resynchronization devices, being dedicated to treating heart rhythm disorders.
