Nahee Park is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Engineering Physics & Astronomy at Queen's University. His research centers on Particle Astrophysics, particularly the dynamics of high-energy particles generated by astrophysical sources throughout the universe. With over a century of observations, many key questions regarding cosmic rays remain unresolved. Questions about the types of sources that can accelerate particles to extreme energies and how these particles propagate to Earth are central to his research. Dr. Park’s work integrates multi-messenger observations, combining high-energy neutrino, gamma-ray, and cosmic-ray data to determine the origins of these particles. He has been involved in several international collaborations such as HELIX, VERITAS, P-ONE, ceCube, and IceCube-Gen2, and is currently analyzing data from existing experiments while also developing new detector technologies to further explore these phenomena.
