Dr. Naheed Jivraj

Biography

Naheed Jivraj is an attending anesthesiologist and clinician-investigator at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, affiliated with the University of Toronto. He received his medical degree from King’s College London, UK, and completed residencies in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the University of Toronto. He holds a Master’s degree in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics, and has trained in Clinical Epidemiology at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. His primary research interests focus on improving sedation and analgesia practices in the ICU, understanding health systems and critical care capacity, and conducting cost-effectiveness analyses in health economics.
