Biography

Naimesha Patel graduated with a Master’s degree in Maxillofacial Craniofacial Technology from King's College London in 2008 and became a practicing full member of the Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetists and Technologists (IMPT). After completing her studies, she was employed as a Clinical Teacher at the Academic Centre of Reconstructive Science (ACRS) at King's College London in the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences starting in January 2009. Naimesha has gained a teaching qualification and has been solely responsible for the education of Dental Technology students at the Eastman Dental Institute. She has also contributed to the teaching of third-year dental undergraduates in Prosthetic Dentistry at King's College Hospital. With over nine years of significant contributions to the specialty, Naimesha primarily focuses on clinical technical teaching for both international and national students enrolled in three MSc programmes at the ACRS. The ACRS, known for its established reputation as a center of excellence in Maxillofacial Prosthetists, Prosthodontists, and Anaplastologists, collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive advanced curriculum to postgraduate students.
