Biography

Nana Lyu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Natural Sciences at Macquarie University. She completed her PhD at Macquarie University, with research focused on the application of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) in liquid biopsy analysis, specifically for the detection of circulating tumor DNA and cancer cell surface markers. Lyu holds both an MSc and BSc in Pharmacy from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in China and has undergone additional training at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, concentrating on drug delivery systems and functional nanomaterials. Her current research interests involve nanoparticle-based biosensors, molecular diagnostics, and translational applications of SERS for the detection of cancer and infectious diseases.
