Biography

Nana Sarian holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Sydney. Following her studies, she pursued a postgraduate course in Producing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), focusing on TV and film production. She undertook her initial training at the law firm Deacons, which operates in the Asia Pacific region, while also taking in-house roles at Universal Music, FremantleMedia, Virgin TV, and Sky TV. In 2011, she began working as a solicitor for Gucci Group, now known as Kering Group, which includes luxury brands such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Brioni, Bottega Veneta, and Alexander McQueen. She was appointed General Counsel for Stella McCartney in 2012, and in 2019, Stella McCartney announced a new partnership with LVMH. Nana served in the role of General Counsel for Stella McCartney until September 2021. She continues to advise luxury brands with a particular focus on commercial corporate law, sustainability, technology, business affairs, and intellectual property.
