Biography

Nancy Carrasco is a professor in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology at Yale University School of Medicine. She received her M.D. and Master's degrees in Biochemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, followed by postdoctoral training at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology. Elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2015, Dr. Carrasco has been actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Thyroid Association and the Endocrine Society, and serves on peer review groups for the National Institutes of Health.
