Biography

Nancy N. Nguyen, PharmD, BCPS, AAHIVP, FCSHP, has been a part of the Pacific family since 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, and went on to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy at Western University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy. Dr. Nguyen completed both pharmacy practice and specialty pharmacy residencies at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on HIV/AIDS. As a Clinical Professor and Regional Coordinator for the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience program, Dr. Nguyen is passionate about teaching and influencing future pharmacists. Her ongoing goal is to guide students in developing clinical curiosity and seeking evidence-based answers. Dr. Nguyen is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist since 2006 and a Certified HIV Pharmacist since 2012. Her research interests include the complexities of aging in HIV populations, medication adherence, drug interactions involving HIV antiretrovirals, and antimicrobial stewardship. She has contributed to various peer-reviewed publications and has become an active member of multiple professional organizations.
