Nancy Nixon received her Honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Calgary in 2008 and completed medical school in 2011. She underwent training in Internal Medicine with a specialization in Medical Oncology in Calgary, finishing in 2016. She has secured significant funding for her research endeavors and has played an active role in community fundraising efforts, raising close to 1 million CAD for cancer research through the Tom Baker Cancer Conquerors initiative.
