Biography

Nancy B. Schwartz is a Professor of Pediatrics and Biochemistry Molecular Biology at the University of Chicago. She serves as the Associate Dean for Basic Science and Postdoctoral Affairs. Her research focuses on chondrodystrophy, central nervous system (CNS) development, and genetic disorders. Schwartz has made significant contributions to understanding glycosaminoglycans and their roles in cartilage development and skeletal disorders.
