Nancy Ewen Wang is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine with over 20 years of experience. Her current research and advocacy revolve around investigating disparities in specialty care access and quality, as well as trauma and mental health, particularly in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on Asian American populations. Additionally, she has served as a medical expert in the Flores Settlement Agreement, addressing detention conditions for unaccompanied immigrant children. Dr. Wang was appointed as Faculty Director of the new REACH MD/MS Program in Health Equity Research at Stanford School of Medicine. She completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at Stanford and her Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at LPCH Children's Oakland.
