Biography

Naraig Manjikian received his Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering in 1991 and his Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering in 1992 from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 1997. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Queen's University. Manjikian has held multiple administrative roles including Chair of Undergraduate Studies for the Computer Engineering program and Acting Head of his Department. He has received several teaching recognitions including Professor of the Year awards over multiple academic sessions. His research interests lie in Computer Architecture, Parallel Processing, and Field-Programmable Logic, and he has published extensively in these areas. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the IEEE Computer Society, and actively contributes to engineering education through various initiatives.
