Biography

Naras Hanumanth Rao is a Senior Research Associate in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), where he leads the Algae & Organic Matter Lab (AOM Lab). He graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from India and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the USA. Naras obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from UNSW in 2018. After completing his doctorate, he was a Marie Curie Fellow at KU Leuven in Belgium, strengthening his expertise in chemical engineering research. Now, as an ARC DECRA Fellow, he continues his work at UNSW, focusing on advancing the field of chemical engineering and contributing to innovative research in environmental applications.
