Biography

Narendra N. Das is an Associate Professor with joint appointments in the Departments of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research primarily focuses on hydrology, microwave remote sensing, and crop modeling. Dr. Das leads the Remote Sensing and Hydrology Lab (RSHAL) and collaborates on NASA satellite missions, including continuation projects initiated during his tenure at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and M.S. in Biological Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur.
