Naresh Verma completed his PhD in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Sydney. He pursued research interests in microbial pathogenesis and vaccine development during his post-doctoral fellowship appointments at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Stanford University, USA.
