Biography

Narineh Mirzaeian is a lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, focusing on Architecture Urban Design. She is the founder principal of MNOffice, a design practice based in Los Angeles and Yerevan, which engages in the production of speculative built projects while studying and cultivating works of cultural and spatial material interest. Mirzaeian was a Fulbright Scholar in 2016-17, and her design work has received various accolades, including the AIA Design Excellence Awards and the P/A Award Grand Prize in 2006. Before establishing her firm, she worked as an Architectural Associate at Gehry Partners for nine years, playing a key role in several architectural projects completed internationally. Mirzaeian has also taught design courses at the Southern California Institute of Architecture and Woodbury University. Her work has been published in notable architectural magazines including Progressive Architecture, GA, Architectural Record, Interior Design, and Metropolis.
