Biography

Natali van Zijl obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Extractive Metallurgical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, South Africa in 2018. She is actively generating disease-specific datasets of arterial pulse wave signals from thousands of virtual subjects to optimize treatment strategies for patients suffering from circulatory overload disorders, including hypertension and heart failure. Natali is dedicated to advancing the understanding of cardiovascular health through innovative models and data analysis.
