Biography

Dr. Neparidze obtained her medical degree from Aieti Medical School in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2000. She subsequently completed postdoctoral research fellowships at Emory, Northwestern, and Yale Universities, followed by an Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology/Medical Oncology fellowship at Yale University. She has been an assistant professor at the Yale University School of Medicine in Medical Oncology/Hematology since 2012. Dr. Neparidze specializes in multiple myeloma, monoclonal gammopathies, AL amyloidosis, and Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia, developing numerous research projects and being an investigator in multiple therapeutic clinical trials. Her ongoing research interests include advanced imaging techniques, the evaluation of tumor heterogeneity to enhance precision medicine approaches, and novel immunotherapy strategies for multiple myeloma. Dr. Neparidze is involved in educating hematology/oncology fellows, medical students, and residents within the Yale community.
