Biography

Dr. Natalie Agus is a lecturer at the Interactive Systems and Design pillar at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). She has a strong passion for teaching and has been actively involved in teaching various undergraduate courses across Sophomore, Junior, and Senior levels during her PhD candidature. Her teaching subjects include programming in Python, Java, C#, and C/C++. Dr. Agus is dedicated to searching for new ideas to deliver academic materials in the most engaging way possible, constantly updating her teaching methods accordingly. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is involved in research projects that focus on room acoustics and music information retrieval. Her PhD thesis revolved around developing binaural room reverberation algorithms, which enable perceptually realistic audio rendering in real-time. Dr. Agus obtained her Bachelor of Engineering with specialization in Robotics and completed her PhD in Digital Audio Signal Processing at SUTD just before joining the university as a lecturer. In her free time, she enjoys boxing, playing acoustic guitar, and piano.
