Dr. Natalie Cujes

Biography

Natalie Cujes is a legal academic at UNSW Canberra, where she works at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA). She is an Emeritus Fellow of the UNSW Scientia Education Academy and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK. She teaches Business Law, Contract Law, and Legal Risk Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Cujes has experience as a lecturer at various academic institutions and has specialized in areas such as Business Law, Contracts, Litigation/Dispute Resolution, and Competition Consumer Law. Before joining the School of Business, she held significant roles in the Federal Court and the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia for a decade, and served as the Secretary of the Professional Conduct Board of the ACT Law Society. Cujes is involved in several committees, including the Law Council's Federal Court Australia Liaison Committee and the Federal Circuit Family Court Australia Liaison Committee. She is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at the University of Canberra.
