Natalie Neumeyer is a Professor of Mathematical Statistics Applications at the University of Hamburg. She has an extensive academic background, holding a PhD from the Ruhr-University Bochum, where her thesis focused on the comparison of nonparametric regression functions using stochastic processes. Professor Neumeyer completed her habilitation in 2006 at the same institution, with a thesis on bootstrap procedures and empirical processes. Since 2007, she has been a full professor at the University of Hamburg, previously serving as a junior professor and research assistant at the Ruhr-University Bochum. Her research interests are primarily in non-semi-parametric statistics, model testing, bootstrap curve estimation, empirical processes, and time series analysis. She has been an associate editor for several academic journals and is actively involved in promoting young scientists through her leadership roles in various committees. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, she also chairs the examination board for the Master’s program in Business Mathematics.
