Biography

Natasha O’Sullivan studied Medicine at Brighton Sussex Medical School, where she developed her interest in Global Public Health. She undertook an intercalated MSc in Global Health Nutrition at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and completed an Academic Foundation Programme at Queen Mary University of London. Her work focuses on the impact of Covid-19 on maternal and child health in sub-Saharan Africa. She worked in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to explore the intersections of Climate Change and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights. Currently, as an Academic Clinical Fellow in General Practice in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at the University of Cambridge, her research revolves around Planetary Health and Health Inequalities. In addition to her research duties, she serves as a teaching assistant for the Gender and Sexuality Health module in the Global Health MSc program at Queen Mary University of London and as a seminar facilitator for medical students at the University of Cambridge. Natasha is also involved in clinical supervision within the School of Clinical Medicine at the University of Cambridge, providing weekly bedside teaching.
