Biography

Nathalie Bot is a biologist who graduated from the Science Faculty of the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and obtained a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2006. She has dedicated her career to basic research, particularly focusing on breast cancer cell proliferation and neurobiology at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). In 2014, she joined the Institute of Global Health at the University of Geneva, where she works as the coordinator of the PhD program in Global Health. In addition, she serves as a lecturer and supervises third-year Bachelor of Medicine students in community health fieldwork projects, as well as Master of Advanced Studies Public Health students. Her current research focuses on the implementation of personalized medicine in oncology, employing an ethnographic approach to broaden the understanding of the practices and challenges involved in implementing personalized medicine, particularly in the field of precision oncology.
